OREANDA-NEWS. Ford Thailand recently collaborated with Jor Sor 100, a news and traffic radio station, to organize its Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) program for the eighth consecutive year. The program was hosted at Metro Life Park and approximately 200 people participated.

DSFL is Ford’s flagship CSR program, providing free safe driving classes to anyone interested, ranging from government to private sectors, and even the general public. So far, more than 8,000 people in Thailand have participated in DSFL in Thailand.

The main objective of DSFL is to provide drivers with advanced real world training, both theoretically and practically, led by professional instructors. The training includes sessions on safe driving such as how to correctly handle a steering wheel, how to control a vehicle and about the dangers of impaired driving. DSFL serves as a critical step to establish safe driving behaviors, reduce accidents, provide instruction on how to maximize a vehicle’s fuel economy and give basic vehicle maintenance tips.
