OREANDA-NEWS. August 21, 2015. Ford College Graduates (FCGs) gathered at TechShop, the do-it-yourself (DIY) workshop and fabrication studio, in Dearborn to kick off the Catalyst 2015 challenge, an embodiment of the Ford spirit of innovation.

In 2014 the IT FCG Innovation Challenge encouraged IT teams to develop innovative ideas to solve business problems. Catalyst 2015 is taking a great idea to the next level by expanding to include FCGs from multiple skill teams, including Finance, IT, Manufacturing, PD and Purchasing.

“Catalyst 2015 is an exciting innovation platform created by our FCGs to bring peers from many skill teams together to pose and then solve problems that will add value to Ford. These include process enhancements, product improvements and surely fortifying the culture of innovation that allows us to bring value to all our stakeholders,” said Venkatesh Prasad, senior technical member, Open Innovation, and a member of Ford’s Technology Advisory Board.
