OREANDA-NEWS. The First Kazan Forum of Innovative Financial Technologies FINNOPOLIS 2015, organised by the Bank of Russia and the government of the Republic of Tatarstan, will be held in Kazan on 17-18 September 2015.

The Forum is aimed at promoting modern information technologies in the Russian financial sector.

The Forum will become the major event of the year in financial market digitalisation. It will serve as a platform for professionals to negotiate issues of digital technology application in the financial market, to provide new solutions and opportunities, and to discuss global trends in software and hardware solutions.

The Forum is supposed to become the major Russian and eventually international fair in this field. The Forum is particularly aimed at highlighting and supporting financial market digitalisation start-ups.

The Forum will be primarily focused on the opinion of the public authorities and businesses about the prospects for introducing information technologies in the financial sector, global trends in IT development, design and services of the prospective Bank of Russia payment system, regulating remote customer identification and authentication through the Unified System for Identification and Authentication (USIA), prospects for using the Insurance Number of Individual Ledger Account (INILA) as a unified identifier of Russian citizens in the financial market.

The agenda also covers issues of direct access to governmental data for financial sector enterprises with the purpose of assessing customers for credit and other risks and countering cyber-threats, approaches to easing regulatory burden when meeting the requirements of 115-FZ and reporting to regulators through introducing new technologies and data transmission formats, abandoning hardcopies in the financial market, arranging remote distribution of financial products, using Big Data in the financial sector, etc.

Speaking at the Forum will be representatives of the Bank of Russia, Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, as well as other public authorities, Russian and international financial sector and IT industry.
