OREANDA-NEWS. General Director of the GM-AvtoVAZ since October 5th, 2015 was appointed Romuald Rytvinski, who will continue to perform his duties as the head of production of GM in Russia, the CIS and Uzbekistan. The decision was taken yesterday at a regular meeting of Board of Directors GM-AvtoVAZ in Moscow, informed the press service of the joint venture.

Romuald Rytvinski started his career at GM in May 1994 as a supervisor of model range in the A-segment, and later as the head of GM plants in Poland and Spain. As the CEO of GM-AvtoVAZ, he will replace Jeffrey Glover, who returns in R?sselsheim, Germany, to the post of director of special projects, and to support the team Opel.

In addition, at the meeting, there were made decisions regarding changes in the composition of the Board of Directors of GM-AvtoVAZ. The new members of the Board of Directors became Executive Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development of AvtoVAZ, Stefan Mauerer, and vice-president of corporate development, mergers and acquisitions GME, Nijar Patel. Board members expressed their gratitude to Jeffrey Glover, Alex Shah and Gregory Hagee for their work on the board and the contribution to the development of the joint venture. Thus, the new Board of Directors included from the AvtoVAZ side the president of AvtoVAZ, Bo Inge Andersson, Executive Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development, Stefan Mauerer, Vice-President on Operations, Nicholas Strokov, from the General Motors - CFO and Acting President and Managing Director of GM Russia and CIS, Andreas Busch, vice president of corporate development, mergers and acquisitions GME, Nijar Patel, vice president for the production of GM Europe, Peter Tom.
