OREANDA-NEWS. South Korean carmaker SsangYong until the end of 2015 will resume the delivery of kits for auto manufacturer "Sollers" in Vladivostok.

According to the newspaper "Golden Horn», Sollers received from the Korean manufacturer components and it assembled cars SsangYong at the facilities of its site in Vladivostok. However, against the background of ruble devaluation SsangYong stopped the delivery of kits and the assembly was stopped.

The CEO and principal shareholder of Sollers, Vadim Shvetsov, said that now Sollers has no working capital to ensure their own delivery of vehicle sets. "We had great talks with SsangYong in Frankfurt, all main issues were decided, and we have to set a credit line from SsangYong towards us now. Once the line of credit is opened, the supply will be resumed. So now we set a limit and I think, the issue will be resolved in the coming months", - said Mr.Shvetsov.

At the end of eight months of 2015 sales of SsangYong in Russia were 4424 cars – it is less by 71% than a year earlier. Best-selling brand is still a crossover SsangYong Actyon.
