FCA Mexico Reports Best September Sales Since 2009
OREANDA-NEWS. FCA M?xico today reported its ninth consecutive month of sales gains with 8,377 units, a 33 percent increase compared with sales in September 2014, marking its best September since 2009.
“With sales up 33 percent, September marks our ninth consecutive month of sales gains," said Bruno Cattori, President & CEO of FCA M?xico. "This shows that we are on the right path. Last month, we unveiled the Sporting line of the FIAT brand, which offers great quality, avant guard designs and the sportsmanship of the Italian brand. We will continue our commitment to have one of the most complete product portfolios in Mexico to fulfill all customer needs.”
Alfa Romeo
Alfa Romeo brand posted a sales record. It was the brand's best sales month ever with 30 units.
Chrysler
Sales from the Chrysler brand were 297 units, up 2 percent versus 2014. Chrysler 300 sales grew 60 percent, while Chrysler Town & Country sales rose 14 percent compared with sales from the same month a year ago.
Dodge
Dodge brand posted 2,493 units sold, up 102 percent versus 2014. Dodge Attitude sold 1,213 units last month, recording its best September ever. Dodge Challenger posted a sales record with its best September ever. Dodge Charger sales were up 14 percent; best September since 2009. Dodge Vision continued a positive trend with a volume of 194 units. Dodge Journey sales increased 9 percent.
FIAT
FIAT brand posted sales of 747 units, up 18 percent from 2014; best September in its history. In September, FIAT launched a new family of vehicles, Fiat Sporting, which delivers exclusive design and style in its class. It is avilable in Fiat Uno, Palio and 500. Fiat Uno recorded its best September sales ever with 275 units, a 117 percent increase over September 2014, while Fiat Ducato sales were up 93 percent.
Jeep®
Jeep brand continued its strong pace with 1,696 units sold in September 2015. Jeep Grand Cherokee recorded sales of 443 units, up 6 percent versus prior year.
Mitsubishi Motors
Mitsubishi Motors recorded its best September ever with 1,406 units sold, up 14 percent, achieving a double-digit increase for 15 consecutive months. Mitsubishi Mirage continued its positive acceptance in the market and extended its success story in the country by selling 510 units; best sales month since its launch. The all-new Mitsubishi Outlander 2016, which incorporates more than 100 improvements over its predecessor, reported its best sales month of the year.
Ram
Ram brand reported a sales increase of 84 percent, best September since 2010. Ram 700 continued its success in the market by setting an all-time record of more than 700 units sold in September, consildating its leadeship in the segment. Ram 4000 sales surged 40 percent over September?s previous year sales.
