OREANDA-NEWS. October 07, 2015. Fujitsu Limited and Fujitsu Ten Limited (collectively Fujitsu) today announced that they will jointly exhibit at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show 2015, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from Thursday, October 29th to Sunday, November 8th. This will be Fujitsu's first time exhibiting at the Tokyo Motor Show.

About Fujitsu's Exhibit

As one of its social innovation efforts, the Fujitsu Group is positioning itself as a technology and service provider in the important transportation and automotive fields.

Integrating Fujitsu's ICT based on Human Centric Innovation and Fujitsu Ten's car electronics technologies based on its Future Link™(1) connecting service, and combining sensing, data analysis, and a Human Machine Interface (HMI)(2), the two companies are proposing products and services that contribute to safety, comfort, and a society that offers independent mobility.

Exhibit Overview

Date:

October 29 (Thursday) - November 8 (Sunday)

Location:

Tokyo Big Sight East Halls 1-2-3, E2105

Theme:

ICT makes a car your best partner

Highlights:

Sensing that monitors the driver's movements and the situation outside the car, such as the distance to other cars and objects in close proximity. Data analysis that offers predictions based on accumulated traffic and weather data, and an intuitive HMI that gently conveys this information to the driver. Fujitsu will exhibit products and services that are created from the combination of these three elements.

  1. Presentation Stage

Through alternating large-scale videos and MC presentations, Fujitsu will introduce a near-term vision of a future human-centric lifestyle with cars that use ICT proposed by the Fujitsu Group.

  2. Cockpit Experience

Sitting in a cockpit featuring Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd.-developed gaze-detection technology and advanced HMI, visitors can experience, from a driver's perspective, what driving will be like in the near future, such as with technology that determines driver attentiveness and delivers early warnings, as well as predicts the weather and chooses an appropriate route.

  3. Display of the Latest Technology and Products

Fujitsu will display, with live demonstrations, a number of sensor technologies, including Multi-Angle Vision (proximity monitoring) and Millimeter Wave Radar (proximity monitoring), both of which collect information outside the car, FUJITSU Vehicle ICT FEELythm (drowsiness detection), which supports safe driving by detecting a driver's sleepiness, and Iris Recognition (personal authentication), as well as analysis solutions that incorporate social information such as the region and the weather.

  4. Touch and Try Corner for the Latest Car Navigation - ECLIPSE 2015

Visitors can experience for themselves the latest connection functions of ECLIPSE, including automatic map updates and voice search and control.
