OREANDA-NEWS. Uralkali (LSE: URKA; the Company), one of the world’s largest potash producers, announces that Oleg Petrov will resign from his position as the Sales and Marketing director of the Company, effective November 1, 2015. Mr. Petrov ’s decision has been driven by other career opportunities.

Oleg Petrov will continue his work for Uralkali as the Senior Advisor to CEO on Sales and Marketing while necessary.

Dmitry Osipov, Uralkali CEO, commented:

“Oleg has provided tremendous leadership, guidance, and essential contributions to Uralkali. We regret Oleg’s departure and would like to thank him for all he has done and wish him the very best in his future endeavours.”

Oleg Petrov, Uralkali Sales and Marketing director, commented:

“The decision to leave Uralkali was a difficult one for me. I would like to extend my gratitude for the support I’ve received from the management, our customers and our employees. The Company has an incredible experience backed by a talented executive staff and dedicated personnel which allowed Uralkali to maintain the industry leadership.”

The Company also announces that Vladislav Lyan will be responsible for Uralkali sales overseas, effective November 1, 2015. Mr. Lyan has over 15 years’ experience in export sales, including successful export sales work in MCC Eurochem and JSC Uralchem.
