OREANDA-NEWS. Shell today lifted the force majeure (FM) on base chemicals it declared last week after resuming production at its Singapore Pulau Bukom cracker.

"The ethylene cracker complex has been restarted and is running normally," said a Shell spokesperson." The company declined to specify the petrochemical product the FM was applicable to.

Shell's Singapore cracker has a capacity to produce more than 1mn t/yr of ethylene, 550,000 t/yr of propylene and 155,000 t/yr of butadiene following a expansion that was completed earlier this year.
