OREANDA-NEWS. The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Mariusz Zawisza, President of the PGNiG Management Board.

The parties addressed the issues of natural gas supplies from Russia to Poland and its transit to third countries.

In addition, the participants discussed the prospects for further expansion of the gas transmission network in Europe.

PGNiG is Poland's largest petroleum company dealing with gas and oil fields development, energy carriers production, storage and transportation, oil and gas transmission network construction and expansion as well as with gas export and import.

Poland received 9.1 billion cubic meters of Russian natural gas in 2014.
