The Fusion line is also one of the only in the country to offer Hybrid version. Despite the small volume of sales, due to the high price and lack of Brazilian tradition in these kinds of models, the Fusion Hybrid is also leader in this segment.

From September, the City Hall of Sao Paulo, the main city of the country, announced a municipal incentives for consumer to buy hybrid and electric vehicles, which increases Fusion competitiveness in biggest market in Brazil. The Ford Fusion Hybrid competes with the Toyota Prius and Lexus.
