(NYSE:JEC) announced today that the U.S. Green Building Council awarded Platinum LEED certification to Intesa Sanpaolo’s new headquarters, the Intesa Sanpaolo Tower in Turin, Italy. Jacobs performed project management, construction management and LEED administration services for the new building.

The LEED Green Building Rating System evaluates environmental performance over a building’s life cycle, providing a definitive standard for what constitutes a green building in design, construction and operation.

Jacobs set up the LEED strategy, developed the energy model, performed document control and executed the commissioning of this highly sustainable building.
