Russian Power Machines and Atomenergomash are through to the second stage of Rosatom's tender to supply heating equipment for the turbine systems of four twin-unit nuclear power plants under construction in Russia and abroad. Germany's Siemens, which also bid for the contract, was not admitted to the second stage. The Russian state nuclear corporation requires equipment for the Kudankulam plant in India, with the first set to be delivered between July 2016 and January 2018, and the second between August 2016 and October 2018. The corresponding requirements for two of the other three plants are: Kursk 2 in Russia, April 2017-September 2019 and March 2019-August 2021; Bushehr in Iran, January 2020-February 2021 and June 2021-July 2022. The name of the fourth plant is not given in the tender document, which Rosatom published on 19 October, but the delivery dates are March 2021-April 2022 and May 2022-August 2023. The value of the work is more than RUB168 billion ($2.7 billion).
