OREANDA-NEWS. October 30, 2015. Donavia airline, which is part of the Aeroflot group, has introduced a new on-board menu in the Caucasus. For the first time all the dishes offered to the passengers on flights from Mineralnye Vody are fully prepared, using products that are grown and produced in the Northern Caucasus Federal District.

The new on-board menu made from local products were developed in cooperation with their long-term partner “FoodAero” (Mineralnye Vody), and included the best dishes of Russian and Caucasian cuisine. For the first time delicacies such as minced trout balls, roulade of beef with Chinese cabbage, salmon baked in Sumy, chicken fillet tenders sprinkled sprinkled with nuts, etc. are included in the diet of “Business” class passengers. All products, including fish, meat and vegetables are produced in factories and farms of the Northern Caucasus Federal District.

The Aeroflot group generates more than 40% of passenger traffic in Mineralnye Vody, and half of them are Donavia flights, which for only 9 months in 2015 and only in domestic flights, has transported more than 205 thousand people. Most flew to Mineralnye Vody from Moscow and St. Petersburg, and from Mineralnye Vody to Simferopol.
