OREANDA-NEWS. Order book turnover on Xetra, Börse Frankfurt and Tradegate Exchange across all asset classes stood at €126.7 billion in October (October 2014: €141.2 billion).

Of the €126.7 billion, €117.1 billion were attributable to Xetra (October 2014: €132.0 billion). The average daily turnover on Xetra stood at €5.3 billion in October (October 2014: €6.0 billion). A turnover of €3.8 billion was attributable to Börse Frankfurt (October 2014: €4.8 billion). Order book turnover on Tradegate Exchange* totalled approximately €5.9 billion in October (October 2014: €4.4 billion).

Broken down by asset classes, cash market turnover in equities reached about €111.1 billion. Turnover in ETFs/ETCs/ETNs amounted to €13.5 billion. Turnover in bonds was €0.7 billion, and in structured products €1.3 billion. The electronic trading platform Eurex Bonds traded €6.2 billion (single counting, mainly government bonds) in October (October 2014: €6.1 billion).

Viewed by transactions, a total of 23.0 million trades were executed on Xetra in October (October 2014: 22.9 million).

The DAX security with the highest turnover on Xetra in October was Daimler AG at €6.1 billion. Deutsche Wohnen AG led the MDAX equities with €710.5 million, while Ströer SE topped the SDAX equity index with €182.4 million, and Dialog Semiconductor plc headed TecDAX with €981.9 million. The ETF with the highest turnover on Xetra was iShares Core DAX UCITS ETF with €1.3 billion.
