OREANDA-NEWS. FCA Canada Inc. today reported November 2015 sales of 21,038, compared with 20,922 vehicles sold in November of 2014. These results mark a year-over year increase of 1 per cent and represent the best year-to-date sales through November in the Company’s history. Additionally, these sales figures maintain FCA Canada’s position as the number one seller of new vehicles in the country through November.

“These results represent our best November sales month since 1999 and our best CYTD sales results in the 90-year history of our Company,” said Dave Buckingham, Chief Operating Officer, FCA Canada. “Our Jeep brand has had tremendous success around the globe, as well as in Canada where we posted a November sales record.”

Sales Highlights:

The Jeep brand is headed for another record breaking year, with 2015 calendar-year-to-date sales of 73,447 units, up 12 per cent over last year’s record total at this time of year of 65,615 units. Leading the November sales success for the brand was Jeep Cherokee. This SUV was sold to 2,822 customers in Canada, an increase of 33 per cent compared with 2,122 units sold in November of 2014. These results mark a November sales record. For 2016, the Jeep Cherokee delivers legendary Jeep 4x4 capability, fuel ratings of up to 7.7 L/100 km (37mpg) highway, superior on-road ride and handling, a segment-exclusive 9-speed automatic transmission, world-class craftsmanship, class-exclusive technology and more than 70 available advanced safety and security features.

Dodge Journey sales were very strong in November 2015 with 2,203 units sold, marking an increase of 39 per cent compared with 1,583 units sold in the same month of 2014. These results represent a November sales record. The Dodge Journey crossover continues to deliver a slew of high-tech features at a price that is affordable to families.
