OREANDA-NEWS. Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) announces that from January 6, 2016 the USD market indicators publication mode on the front page of KASE website (www.kase.kz) will change.

The changes refer to USDKZT_TOD indicator, which is a weighted average USD/KZT rate, published in the "Foreign Currencies" tab of the market indicators section.

This indicator, previously updated after the end of the morning session, will now be updated twice a day. The first update will occur, as before, after the morning (main) session closes (usually from 11:02 am to 11:10 am AST), the second update will take place after the day (additional) session closes (usually from 3:32 pm to 3:40 pm AST). The first update will show the weighted average USD/KZT rate calculated based on the morning session results, the second update will accumulate the results of the two sessions.

The indicator change (trend) published to the right of the indicator value is calculated relative to the last value of the indicator for the previous trading day.

To the right of the indicator trend, as previously, the update time is published. Thus, if the time is specified then this is the time of the current day, and if the date is specified then this is the date of the last update of the indicator calculated based on the morning and day sessions held on that date.

When you hover over the indicators trends value, the tooltip displays the dates these trends have been calculated for.

We remind you that in accordance with KASE internal document "Regulations on Trades and Confirmation System Operation" on weekends and/or holidays in the USA no USD trading with T+0 (on TOD terms) settlements is held, whereas T+1 (TOM) or T+2 (SPT) settlements trading is held during the morning and day sessions. In these cases, USDKZT_TOM or USDKZT_SPT indicators publication mode will be similar to that described above for USDKZT_TOD.
