OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank CIB continues to strengthen its vertical in Russia's regions and form the team of the corporate and investment business at Sberbank's 14 Regional Banks. In connection with this, the company today announces new appointments. Oleg Belyakov and Sergey Sementsov will hold the position of CIB Managing Director at the Severo-Zapadny Bank and the Yugo-Zapadny Bank, respectively. Sergey Vyatkin will oversee CIB activities at the Volgo-Vyatsky Bank.

The new managers will be responsible for overseeing the client and product divisions of Sberbank's corporate and investment banking business at their Regional Banks, building effective cooperation between regional teams and the central office of CIB in Moscow, and efficiently cascading objectives. They will report to Oleg Ganeev, Head of Sberbank CIB, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank.

Oleg Belyakov joined Sberbank in 1993 as a controller-cashier of the Yegoryevsk Branch of Sberbank and in a few years progressed to the position of Head of the Securities and Stock Market Operations Unit of the Resources Division in the Moscow Region Bank (later reorganised as the Srednerussky Bank). He was later appointed Deputy Director of the Financial Markets Division of the Srednerussky Bank. In recent years Oleg served as Director of the Division for Financial Market Services and then Director of the Global Markets Division of the Moskovsky Bank of Sberbank.

Sergey Sementsov joined Sberbank's Yugo-Zapadny Bank in 2004. His first positions at the Bank involved servicing participants of foreign economic activity, working in lending for legal entities and selling to corporate clients. In 2011 he became Head of the Corporate Clients Sales Unit, and in 2014 - Head of the Corporate Business Client Manager Unit. Over the past six months Sergey has been acting CIB Managing Director at the Yugo-Zapadny Bank.

Sergey Vyatkin joined Sberbank in 2007. He started as a loan inspector in the Investment Lending and Project Finance Division at the Zapadno-Sibirsky Bank, and worked his way up to Deputy Director of the Investment Lending and Project Finance Unit of the Omsk Branch of Sberbank. In 2011 he was appointed Deputy Director of the Loans and Project Finance Division of the Zapadno-Sibirsky Bank, and then in 2015 - Director of the CIB Client Manager Division of the Volgo-Vyatsky Bank. In connection with his appointment, Sergey will be the acting CIB Managing Director at the Volgo-Vyatsky Bank.

Commenting on these appointments, Oleg Ganeev, Head of Sberbank CIB, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank, said: "Currently up to 50% of our income from specific products comes from the regions.
