OREANDA-NEWS. February 18, 2016. ALM Intelligence, the leading consulting research and advisory firm, has rated PwC as a Vanguard Leader in their new report ‘IT Consulting: Analytics’.

Reasons why PwC has been named a leader include using analytics to solve client business challenges through their “hub and spokes” model. ALM Intelligence said that “PwC’s Global Analytics Hub brings analytics expertise to clients through “spokes,” or PwC practices (Advisory, Tax, Assurance), and industries across geographies.”

ALM Intelligence also say that PwC has heavily invested in analytics visualisation techniques, which is a key element in enabling the client to become more knowledgeable in analytics and during business case development. The PwC Wall, developed with a UCSD lab, is portable, and allows clients to simulate scenarios. In addition, the firm’s broad set of analytics apps provides visuals to data sets for quick insights.

Dan DiFilippo, Global and US Data and Analytics Leader, said "We're delighted to have been recognised by ALM Intelligence as a top-tier Vanguard provider of IT Analytics services. We know that businesses who understand the true value of data and analytics are more successful. Our Global Data and Analytics survey, Big Decisions, reveals that data-driven organisations are three times more likely to report significant improvement in their decision making process. PwC's Global Data and Analytics is deeply committed to helping organisations grow, operate more effectively, and manage risk."
