OREANDA-NEWS. Qlik® (NASDAQ: QLIK), a leader in visual analytics, today announced its strategic alliance with Arrow Electronics, Inc., a global provider of enterprise computing solutions. Under this agreement, Arrow will distribute Qlik's intuitive platform solutions for self-service data visualization, guided analytics applications, embedded analytics, and reporting. Companies of all sizes, across all industries and geographies, use Qlik solutions to visualize and explore information, generate insight, and make better decisions.

"Qlik is an essential addition to our Big Data solutions portfolio and will complement our current offerings with its proven performance, ease of use, and self-service capabilities," said Howard Goldberg, President of Arrow's North American Enterprise Computing Solutions business. "We're looking forward to bringing our incremental value model to the Qlik partner ecosystem that will enable Qlik and our solution providers to leverage our scale to capture this fast-growing and emerging channel opportunity."

"With the growth of the Qlik business and reseller community, now is the right time to add distribution to better serve our resellers and customers," said Mark Thurmond, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services at Qlik. "We are excited to have Arrow distribute Qlik products and services to help accelerate the growth of our channel. This agreement opens the door to help even more organizations leverage self-service analytics for deeper business insights."

Through the agreement, Arrow will make Qlik products available to its resellers including:

  • Qlik Sense® Enterprise: Qlik Sense Enterprise spans across all business intelligence (BI) needs from reporting and self-service visual analysis to guided, embedded and custom analytics. Qlik Sense Enterprise is designed to serve audiences equally without compromise: business users gain the intuitive experience they need, developers gain boundless possibilities for what they can create and IT gains centralized control for management and governance.
  • Qlik® Analytics Platform: Specifically designed to make it easier for developers to build any data-driven app they can imagine with the underlying performance of Qlik. OEMs and developers can build on the powerful QIX Associative Data Indexing Engine (QIX), with full capabilities of mashup and extension APIs. With this platform they are not confined to the specific visualization limitations of a tool vendor, but can use this as a toolkit and open platform for whatever they choose to build.
