OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2016.  This election year is already proving to be one of the most buzzed about in our nation's history. That's why ConAgra has partnered with

Robby Novak, aka Kid President, to bring one of those serious issues – child hunger – to America's forefront. Kid President has declared 2016 the Year of the Kid and as part of his "campaign," has released a video to inspire kid citizens and adults to take action in the fight against child hunger.

"We're campaigning for something awesome…we're campaigning for kids…and we're gonna do this together," said Kid President. "We need your help to end child hunger in the United States, and I've got it on my to-do list!"

More than one in five children and more than one in four Latino children1 in the U.S. may not know where their next meal is coming from. That's more than 15 million children. Kid President and ConAgra need your help in the fight against child hunger in America. Join the fight by watching or sharing Kid President's video. For every view or share of the video April 14 through May 9, 2016, ConAgra will donate the monetary equivalent of one meal to Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief organization, up to 100,000 meals.2

But that's not the only way to help! Visit the Child Hunger Ends Here website to enter the eight-digit code from specially marked packages of ConAgra's food3 and learn more about how to help fight this issue in your community.

"Child food insecurity is an issue that affects every county in our nation," says

Robert Rizzo, Senior Director of Community Investment, ConAgra. "That's why ConAgra and the ConAgra Foods Foundation have been committed to fighting hunger for more than 20 years, providing more than 412 million pounds of food and investing more than \\$45 million in capacity building, child hunger programs and ground breaking research."

To continue on the "campaign trail," Kid President and ConAgra will host a Town Hall at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee in Nashville on May 10, where Kid President will address the issue of child hunger in America and what he's doing with ConAgra to make a change. The event will inspire attendees to continue to be part of the solution in their community, and encourage them to help spread awareness of the issue. Finally, Kid President will help ConAgra present a check to Feeding America based on the number of meals triggered from video views and shares.

Novak, with his brother-in-law and Kid President co-creator

Brad Montague, have partnered with ConAgra since 2014 to get the word out about child hunger in America, as well as dedicated time to volunteering and packing more than 570,000 meals for kids all over the world. Together they believe that kids should focus on being more awesome and not have to worry about their next meal.

No matter which party or candidate you may side with, fighting child hunger is something we can all support!
