OREANDA-NEWS. The Central Bank’s second Language Scheme 2016-2019 has been confirmed by Joe McHugh T.D., the Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs. The Scheme shall remain in force for a period of three years from 18 January 2016 or until a new scheme has been approved. The Scheme sets out the measures the organisation intends to take over the next three years in order to provide an improved level and standard of services through Irish. These measures are in addition to those services already required under the Official Languages Act 2003.
