OREANDA-NEWSGazpromneft Marine Lubricants (part of Gazprom Neft) has launched the production of Gazpromneft Ocean marine oils in Singapore at the AP Oil plant. Localization of production will reduce the delivery time of products to the port of the city to 2 days, and to the ports of Malaysia to 4 days, the company said.

"The organization of production in Singapore will ensure the growing demand for high-tech marine oils and strengthen the company's position in the Asia-Pacific region", said Roman Miroshnichenko, managing director of Gazpromneft Marine Lubricants. Gazpromneft Ocean marine engine oil formulations were developed taking into account the requirements of MARPOL 2020 and approved by major manufacturers of marine equipment.

At present, Gazprom Neft ship oils are represented in more than 250 ports in 24 countries of the world. The strategy of Gazprom Neft provides for further expansion of the distribution network and geography of production abroad. "Due to this, Gazpromneft Ocean oil sales are expected to grow to 100 thousand tons by 2030, the company's share in the global marine lubricants market will reach 4%", the company said.
