OREANDA-NEWS. Rospotrebnadzor will check what effect antistress toys have on children, including pop-it, simple-dimple, squish and the like. This was reported on the website of the department.

The aforementioned toys have recently been popular with children. Pop-it and simple-dimple are plastic or rubber accessories. They resemble a bubble wrap. When pressed, the toys make a clicking sound, and then take the same shape.

Simple dimple and pop-it began to gain traction in April 2021 on TikTok. The popularity of toys has grown so much that it is now difficult to find them in stores.

A squish is a small soft object. It can be squeezed with your hands, after which it also returns to its original shape.

Rospotrebnadzor draws attention to the fact that toys of this kind were used for people with neurological disorders. The need to make clicking sounds, squeezing and unclenching often occurs in a state of stress.

The department urged citizens, when choosing toys, to pay attention to the labeling, which must contain certain information: name, country of origin, service life, and so on.

The check was organized after requests from the parent community. The corresponding instructions were given to research institutes.
