OREANDA-NEWS. The Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine may begin to be produced in two more states. This is reported by Vesti.ru.

"The release of Sputnik V has been successfully localized, our colleagues have already spoken here, both in Kazakhstan and in Belarus. The possibility of deploying such production facilities in Armenia and Kyrgyzstan is now being considered," Russian President Vladimir Putin said to a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The event was broadcast live by the Russia 24 TV channel and the Vesti.Ru website.

At the same time, the head of state stressed that Russia is the only country that transfers its vaccine technologies to others.

Thus, in Brazil on May 21, they announced the production of the first batch of Sputnik V using Russian technology. This is despite the fact that, under pressure from the United States, the country's state regulator refused to register our vaccine, even after more than fifty Brazilian scientists confirmed its safety. The released drug will undergo a quality control procedure at the Gamaleya Center and will be exported to other countries in Latin America.

For the first time, production of Sputnik will begin in the coming days in Europe. Three weeks at the latest. This was reported in Serbia. We are talking about hundreds of thousands of ampoules at the initial stage.

Vaccines obtained at foreign sites are supplied all over the world, our development has been approved by 66 countries.

Russia has currently approved four of its own vaccines against coronavirus: Sputnik V, EpiVacCorona, KoviVak and Sputnik Light.
