OREANDA-NEWS. The conclusion of contracts for the supply of the Russian vaccine against the Sputnik V coronavirus is based on the capabilities of production facilities.

“Therefore, no one should have any doubts that over time we will satisfy all these needs,” said the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

So he commented on the information that 200 thousand before the drug should have been delivered to the Republika Srpska a month ago, but the contract was fulfilled only by 10%. In this regard, a Kremlin spokesman explained that, as a rule, all contracts are extended in time - that is, the number of drugs indicated in them is not provided immediately. "In the course of one or several deliveries, this contract is closed," he said.

At the same time, Peskov stressed that "the absolute priority is to meet internal needs" for the COVID-19 vaccine.

The first Russian vaccine against coronavirus "Sputnik V" ranks second in the world in terms of the number of registration certificates received - which document our drug has already in 60 states, whose population exceeds 1.5 billion people. In Russia, the vaccine is produced at six sites. Also, the Russian Direct Investment Fund has concluded agreements with international partners for the manufacture of the drug in more than ten countries, including India, Brazil, South Korea, China, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
