OREANDA-NEWS. Russian agricultural supervision may introduce temporary restrictions on the supply of feed and feed additives from China to Russia due to non-compliance of products with the requirements of the Russian Federation and the EAEU. This is stated in the message of the department.

"In the event that continued to identify inconsistencies with the requirements of the Russian Federation and the EAEU, such products, the Russian agricultural supervision will be forced to introduce temporary restrictions on its supplies from China to Russia", the report says.

According to the Russian Ministry, the Russian Agricultural Supervision is concerned about the incidence of non-compliance with the requirements of the Russian Federation and the EAEU of these products imported to Russia from China in 2019. Last year, GMO components were discovered in such products from four Chinese enterprises. Regarding the supply of products of these companies to the territory of the Russian Federation, time restrictions were introduced.

In addition, in two cases when importing Chinese feed and feed additives, Russian agricultural surveillance identified Salmonella bacteria and E. coli bacteria. About all violations of the Russian agricultural supervision timely informed the relevant departments of China, sending notifications.
