OREANDA-NEWS. The talks in Vienna will be the last chance for Iran to return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program, British Foreign Minister Liz Truss said. The meeting of the Joint Commission of Iran and the «five» international mediators — Russia, Great Britain, Germany, China and France, will be held on December 9. The parties will meet again after a break for consultations on the draft agreements proposed by Iran.

«The talks will resume tomorrow in Vienna, and this is really the last chance for Iran to sign, and I urge it to do so», Truss said.

Also, British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said that Russia would make a strategic mistake in the event of an invasion of Ukraine. She said this while delivering a speech on the priorities of Great Britain in foreign policy at the Royal Institute of International Relations.

«Last week in Riga, together with NATO ministers, we made it clear that any Russian invasion of Ukraine would be a strategic mistake. We support Ukraine in strengthening its defense», Truss said.
