OREANDA-NEWS. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree temporarily restricting the export of medical devices received from countries that have imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation. The decree applies both to medicines in the warehouses of suppliers and to products undergoing customs control, the Cabinet said in a statement.

Russia has introduced a temporary ban on the export of foreign medical devices from the country. We are talking about medical products that were delivered from states that have joined the sanctions, the text of the document says.

It also notes that this measure will prevent a shortage of medical devices in the Russian Federation due to restrictions imposed by unfriendly states.

The ban does not apply to the movement of products in international transit traffic, as well as their delivery to the military stationed on the territory of foreign states.

Yesterday afternoon, the government of the Russian Federation approved a list of foreign states and territories that commit unfriendly actions against Russia, as well as its companies and citizens. The list includes 27 states of the European Union, the USA and Canada, Great Britain and other countries.
