OREANDA-NEWS A certain investment company from Bahrain, the name of which its representatives asked not to advertise because of the risk of sanctions, could invest € 500 million ($ 563.27 million) in infrastructure projects in Crimea, the newspaper Izvestia reported citing a representative of this company in Central and Eastern Europe Stefan Dovinu.

According to him, in the near future the details should be discussed at a meeting in Moscow, and the total investment will depend on the field of activity.

The co-chairman of Business Russia, Andrei Nazarov, told the newspaper that Bahraini businessmen were in Crimea several times and after the last talks the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation. According to him, the participants in the transaction and the details can not be disclosed because of possible sanctions.
