OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, has compiled a rating of shopping malls preferred by Muscovites. Over the last six months, most clients visited Metropolis, Afimoll and Evropeyskiy.

Metropolis turned out to be the most popular shopping mall among Tele2 subscribers, whereas Afimoll and Evropeyskiy were ranked second and third correspondently. The rating’s other leaders are Atrium, Okhotnyy Ryad, GUM, Zolotoy Vavilon, Capitoliy, Aviapark, TSUM, Central Children’s Store, Tsvetnoy, Erevan Plaza and Gorbushkin Dvor.

Muscovites most actively used mobile Internet in Metropolis, Columbus, Afimoll, Evropeyskiy and Zolotoy Vavilon. Over the last six months, the total volume of Internet traffic downloaded in 15 most popular malls totaled 118 terabytes. This is equivalent to 41 mn of high-quality pictures or an uninterrupted 14-year video session.

Tele2 clients most actively use mobile Internet on Saturdays from 2 pm until 10 pm. Mondays are ranked second (peak loads falls on afternoon hours from noon until 2 pm and evening hours from 6 pm until 8 pm). At the same time, Internet traffic downloaded on Saturday exceeds its volume on Thursday – the most “lazy” day of the week in terms of this indicator.

Messengers lead in the rating of most popular Internet resources used by subscribers in malls. Thus, over 68% of clients most often accessed WhatsApp, Viber, Facebook Messenger and Telegram over the last six months. Social networks were ranked second: over 62% of users connected to Instagram, VKontakte and Facebook. The third place belongs to applications of ride-hailing services Yandex, Gett and Uber and the Moscow Parking service. Lifestyle-applications took the fourth position: KinoPoisk, Afisha, Gettable and Tripadvisor account for around 21% of requests. Tinder – an application for online dating – also entered the list of popular services (12%).

As for shopping malls, where subscribers called most often, Metropolis took the top position in the rating. Tele2 subscribers often used their mobile phone for calls in Aviapark, Columbus, Afimoll and Evropeyskiy.

Users most often make phone calls on Fridays and rarely do them on Mondays. On the eve of the weekend, the volume of voice traffic exceeds 20 times a similar indicator on the first working day.

Kapitoliy is leading in a number of sent SMS, while clients most actively text messages on Sundays.
