OREANDA-NEWS. Isle of Man Post Office announced details of its 2016 postage prices in early April which came into effect on 25th April 2016. Despite the announcement some customers are continuing to send items using the old 2015 rates.

Mail items found with incorrect postage will either be returned to sender or be subject to the difference being charged as well as an administration fee before the item can be delivered. The person to whom the item is due to be delivered will be required to pay the charge. Posting customers are being urged to check the current postage rates before sending any items to avoid any delivery problems.

As a reminder, the price of a standard letter to the UK and Isle of Man has risen by just 1p to 45p. Isle of Man Post Office has remained cheaper than any of its major European counterparts. This year some customers have benefited from prices that have been reduced or held for a further year whilst others have seen a modest increase in some postal services.
