OREANDA-NEWS. AOTMP, the leader in telecom management best practices and industry standards for enterprises and vendors, announced today that the firm has acquired various assets of Mobilocity LLC and has appointed J. Gerry Purdy, Ph.D. to the position of Principal Analyst, Mobile & Wireless, which includes market research, conferences & events and a number of certification programs. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

“Mobile Letter,” Dr. Purdy’s syndicated weekly column, will continue to be distributed under the AOTMP brand to 100,000+ people each week. AOTMP will continue the Mobility Awards program, which honors the best and finest mobile and wireless products and services each year. The Mobility Awards are announced at a Consumer Electronics Show (CES)-sanctioned press event in January.
