OREANDA-NEWS British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has written an open letter to the children of Ukraine, Sky News reports. According to the channel, the politician called young Ukrainian citizens a role model and promised that the UK would not forget about them.

“Every day Ukrainian children teach us all what it means to be strong and worthy, to hold your head high even in the most difficult times, I can’t think of a better role model for children and adults around the world. We in the UK will never forget you."

At the same time, Johnson called on the children of Ukraine to be proud of their country and its citizens, because their state is “going to win” in the confrontation with Russia. As the British Prime Minister added, he counts on a speedy settlement of the current situation around the two states.

“You may be separated from your friends at home, but you have millions of other people around the world. I believe, like your president, that Ukraine will win. I hope with all my heart that soon you will be able to return to your homes, to your schools, to your families,” Johnson said.

Earlier, the media reported that Johnson and his entourage impede the peaceful settlement of the situation in Ukraine.
