Earlier it became known that German Markus Gisdol left the post of head coach of Lokomotiv in protest against Russia's actions in Ukraine. He informed Bild about his departure.

"For me, being a football coach is the best job in the world. But I cannot do my job in a country whose leader is responsible for an aggressive war in the center of Europe. This does not correspond to my values, so I resigned from the position of coach of Lokomotiv," Gisdol said.
