Instagram has Deleted Kennedy’s Nephew’s Account over COVID-19 Comment
OREANDA-NEWS. According to CNN, the social network Instagram has deleted the account of the relative of the 35th American President John F. Kennedy -his nephew, a well-known lawyer and environmental activist Robert Kennedy Jr.. The reason of this decision - his claims about the coronavirus and vaccines against the infection.
As the company Facebook, which Instagram belongs to, said, "We have deleted this account for repeatedly posting refuted claims about coronavirus and vaccines."
Robert Kennedy Jr., the son of former US attorney general and presidential candidate Robert Kennedy, has repeatedly spoken out against vaccines on several occasions. However, he also noted that he was in favor of really safe vaccines and pointed out that all his children were already vaccinated.
As the channel emphasizes, the Facebook page of Kendy Jr., which has 300 thousand subscribers on this social network, is still functioning. A company representative said that "at this stage" the social network has no plans to remove it.
