OREANDA-NEWS. Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin cannot answer the key question in his own words. This was announced by Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov, commenting on Klimkin's statement that the situation on the Belarusian-Polish border is an alleged "planned operation" between Moscow and Minsk.

In addition, the ex-minister added that the migration crisis, which can currently be observed on the border of Poland and Belarus, is a joint “migration blackmail” between Russia and Belarus, aimed at destabilizing Ukraine.

“The former head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine goes crazy. Migrants on the Polish-Belarusian border, you see, threaten Ukraine! Why did she surrender to them? The retired paranoid does not answer this key question. There is only one answer: "Ukraine is surrounded!" Further, the thought is lost in the disappearing dotted lines ... "- Pushkov wrote in Telegram on Friday, November 12.

Earlier that day, the Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN Valentin Rybakov noted that Poland and Lithuania are using the situation with migrants on the border with Belarus in order to obtain additional funding from the European Union. According to him, the reason for such decisions is that due to the demonization of Belarus, these countries "are trying to increase their importance and their role in European and international politics."

On November 11, Great Britain, the United States and the EU states agreed that the Belarusian authorities artificially created a migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border. The signatories to the common statement have declared their readiness to discuss measures to help Minsk send migrants to the EU.
