OREANDA-NEWS. The prosecutor's office of Ukraine sent an indictment against the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov and the Russian ambassador to Cape Verde Natalia Poklonskaya to the court. It is said that they are accused of treason, according to the Ukrainian department.

Earlier, the Kiev Court of Appeal granted the prosecutor's petition to detain the former Prosecutor General of Crimea, the current Russian ambassador to Cape Verde, Natalia Poklonskaya. She is suspected of treason in Ukraine. It is added that after her arrest, she will be called in “to participate in the consideration of the petition for choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention”.

At the same time, Poklonskaya herself reckoned that she did not know what exactly the Ukrainian authorities accused her of, since her “rights to defense are systematically violated” by the local investigating authorities. She also said that she would continue her diplomatic work even if the Ukrainian troops or the US special forces decided to kidnap her and take her away from Cape Verde.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy showed "weakness" and actually delegated his powers to other states, said Russian Ambassador to the island state of Cape Verde Natalia Poklonskaya.

“Throughout the history of Ukraine’s independence, the national interests of the country have been represented by the presidents (from Kravchuk to Yanukovych), and not by the heads of other states (the United States or France) - as it is now. Why is Zelensky there if there are Macron and Biden? He, like an offended child, turns to the “dads” to communicate with his “offender” - Russia, ”explained Poklonskaya.

According to her, Zelensky's desire to get weapons from Western countries and prepare for war with the "brotherly people" is a manifestation of "idiocy", not patriotism. The ambassador noted that those who voted for Zelensky were essentially deceived.

"People, having voted for the still normal Zelensky, hoped for some bold, balanced (maybe unpopular, but adult) decision, but it turned out that they were deceived and shown a" movie "with a spoiled, angry, dissimilar actor in life." - complained Poklonskaya, stressing that she also hoped for a miracle when Zelensky was elected.

The diplomat noted that in the place of the head of state, she would try to build "mutually beneficial relations with Russia" and not "stand with an outstretched hand for American alms."
