EP Energy LLC ("EP Energy"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of EP Energy Corporation (NYSE: EPE), and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Everest Acquisition Finance Inc., as co-issuer (together with EP Energy, the "Issuers"), today announced the pricing of the previously announced unregistered offering of \\$500.0 million aggregate principal amount of 8.00% Senior Secured Notes due 2024 (the "Notes") at an issue price of 100%. The size of the offering was increased from \\$350.0 million to \\$500.0 million and the maturity of the notes was extended from 2023 to 2024. The offering is expected to close on November 29, 2016, subject to certain closing conditions.

The Issuers intend to use the proceeds from the offering of the Notes (i) to repay amounts outstanding under their senior reserve-based revolving credit facility and/or for other general corporate purposes and (ii) to pay related fees and expenses.
