In H1, electricity generation decreased at CHPPs by 0.7% YOY due to reduced electricity consumption by industrial enterprises. The comparable electricity generation by HPPs decreased by 2.5%, which was caused by lower water content at the Karelsky and Kolsky branches compared to the previous year.

Specific consumption of fuel on electricity production for the Company comprised 199.6 g/kWh (-3.6% YOY). Among other reasons, this decrease is caused by commissioning of high-performance power units of the gas turbine plant at the Centralnaya CHPP in St. Petersburg.

Based on the results of H1 2017, heat generation of TGC-1, including PJSC Murmanskaya CHPP, comprised 14,480.1 thousand Gcal, which is 6.4% higher than in 2016. Increase in heat generation was caused by lower outside air temperatures in Q2, 2017.

Specific consumption of fuel on heat production for TGC-1 decreased by 0.8% to 168.7 kg/Gcal.
