IDGC of Centre’s crews are among prize-winners of the creative festival and competitions of students’ construction crews of "Rosseti"

OREANDA-NEWS. On 13-15 October in Sochi, within the framework of the XIX World Festival of Youth and Students, solemn events dedicated to the closing of the eighth season of students’ construction crews of the power grid complex took place, in which about 200 representatives of the best crews from all over the country took part.
In total in the labour season of 2017, at 115 sites of the Rosseti group of companies there were 91 crews with a total of 1,769 students from 88 educational organizations. The right to participate in the solemn events was given to the leaders, as well as members of the best 16 students’ construction crews, who worked at power grid facilities of Rosseti in the summer of 2017. The main selection criteria were high production figures and active participation in sports, creative and social events, as well as victories in students’ creative contests of articles, photos and video works. IDGC of Centre in Sochi was represented by crews of the branches «Bryanskenergo» and «Lipetskenergo» - «National team of short circuit» and «12 kilowatts of youth».
Deputy Director General - Head of Staff of PJSC «Rosseti» Nikolay Varlamov, General Director of the All-Russian Branch Association of Electric Power Employers Arkady Zamoskovny, Deputy Head of the Central Staff of the Youth All-Russian Public Organization «Russian Students’ Squads» Ekaterina Krasikova and Vice-Rector of National Research University «MPEI» Vladimir Zamolodchikov took part in the closing ceremony of the eighth working season of students’ construction crews.
As part of the ceremony, there was awarding of winners of the contests of articles, photos and video works, conducted among the crews of Rosseti, a creative festival of students’ crews took place, as well as an exhibition of wall newspapers and helmets. Representatives of IDGC of Centre showed a decent result there. The crew «National team of short circuit» from Bryanskenergo was awarded the third place for the performance, which included video presentation of the crew, a song and a KVN performance on the energy theme. The students’ crew from Lipetskenergo took the second place in the wall newspaper contest with the project «The mock-up of the emergency situation on the 110 kV Overhead Line Verbilovo» and the fourth place in the creative competition with the «Electric talk show» scene.
«While working at Bryanskenergo, I learned that in addition to production activities, the company is actively involved in social work, there are many interesting events,» the crew leader of «National team of short circuit», a third-year student of the Smolensk branch of MPEI Alexey Sautin shares his impressions. «It’s nice that during the creative competition of IDGC of Centre, our creative representation of the crew was noticed and we were entrusted to represent the company at the All-Russian Youth Festival. We did not have the experience of participating in such events, but we tried, mobilized all the forces and creative abilities - and we did it!»
