OREANDA-NEWS. August 10, 2016. IDGC of Centre summed up the work on the connection to power grids in the first half of 2016. During the reporting period the company received 31,792 relevant applications, executed 19,561 contracts for grid connection. The total connected capacity under the performed contracts amounted to 446 MW. The total revenue from the grid connections was 0.6 billion rubles without VAT, which is 30% higher than in the first half of 2015. In the first half of the year IDGC of Centre connected to the power grids a number of companies that are essential for socio-economic development of regions of its service area (11 subjects of the Central Federal District).

In particular, the supply of power was provided to a number of production sites of agricultural industry. More than a dozen large farms were connected in the Belgorod region. These include production facilities of one of the largest producers of pork in the Black Earth Region and suppliers of meat on the domestic market - AIC "PromAgro" in Stary Oskol district - a pig processing plant with customer contract demand of 2.2 MW in Ozersky, a processing plant and a feed mill and grain silos for simultaneous storage of up to 30 thous. tons per year and a maximum power of 1.5 MW. As part of one of the most important industries of import substitution - dairy farming - power engineers of the Belgorod branch of IDGC of Centre connected to the grids a number of facilities of a major regional agricultural holding LLC "GC" Green Valley", specializing in production and processing of dairy products. In particular - a new grain drying facility for processing and storage of grains and oilseeds with a capacity of 50 tons per hour and storage capacity up to 20 thous. tons in Shebekinsky district.

In the Kursk region the company provided grid connection of a line to process sunflower seeds and lupine of a large agricultural enterprises of the Kursk region - OJSC "Nadezhda". Under this project the power company carried out construction of a 10 kV overhead line (Conductor). 332 kW of power was provided to a settlement under construction for workers of this enterprise in Sudzhansky district. At the moment, 46 buildings have already been connected the branch networks, where workers of the agricultural enterprise live. Another big agribusiness facility connected to the grid in this region - it is an elevator of LLC "Russian Barley", a large agro-industrial company, which is one of leading producers of malting barley in the Central Black Earth Region. The new hi-tech facility (maximum power - 2 MW) with its capacity of 40 thous. tons can take up to 2 thous. tons of cereals a day.

Since the beginning of the year "Lipetskenergo" has connected to its grid a number of industrial agribusiness and food processing sites as part of the import substitution public policy implementation. The largest of them is a poultry farm of "Cherkizovo" Group in Zadonsky district of the Lipetsk region with its total connected capacity of 3.16 MW. Successful implementation of this project is expected to help bring the region among the leaders in terms of poultry meat produced in the country. In Terbunsky district the power supply of 1.6 MW was provided to a plant for production of premixes of Group of Companies LLC "Megamix Centre" - one of leading manufacturers of feed additives for all kinds of farm animals and birds in the Russian Federation. With the launch of the Lipetsk enterprise the company "Megamix" plans to increase production two times until 2020. The special economic zone of the regional level "Terbuny" a plant for deep processing of grain and oilseeds of LLC "Black Earth" was connected to the grid. The customer contract demand of the facility was 8.2 MW. In the processing capacity the company will be one of the largest in Russia in its area: according to the plans, there it is going to produce about 300 thous. tons of sunflower oil per year.

The key factors of successful work of IDGC of Centre in the sphere of grid connection are an effective investment policy and constructive cooperation with the regional authorities. One example of such a partnership is the signed in 2015 concession agreement between IDGC of Centre and the administration of the Tambov region, providing for creation of power grid infrastructure for the largest in the Central Federal District new businesses in growing and processing of poultry meat produced on the site of LLC "Tambov Turkey" and OJSC "Tokarevskaya Poultry Plant". In carrying out its obligations under the agreement the power company commissioned this year the high-tech 110/10 kV substation "Factory", constructed for power supply of the Tokarevskaya poultry plant. In the first half of the year it connected an incubator of the poultry plant to the grid, a slaughter house and a processing poultry plant, a feed mill and a feeding site will also be connected to power grids through the new power centre. The enterprise performance with full cycle of production will be 150 thous. tons of poultry meat a year. In addition, in the first half of the year experts of the Tambov branch of IDGC of Centre carried out the grid connection of a plant for production of modified starch of LLC "Agrokombinat "Tambovkrakhmal" in Umetsky district.

And the Orel branch of IDGC of Centre made its contribution to the federal project of import substitution, having completed in the spring work on grid connection of the first phase of a new production site of the plant "Livgidromash" (included in the structure of large machine-building and engineering holding JSC "HMS Group"). One of the largest industrial enterprises in the Orel region is an important element in the implementation by HMS Group of the large investment project "Localization of production of pumps for oil refining, as well as high-volume pumps for transportation of oil/oil products" aimed at solving state problems on import substitution.

The Yaroslavl branch of IDGC of Centre in the first half of 2016 completed the grid connection project of a plant of a branch of OJSC "Syktyvkar Tissue Group" - the leading Russian manufacturer of sanitary wares and commodity base paper. The maximum capacity of the enterprise is 8 MW. In carrying out its obligations in a timely manner and in full on grid connection of large industrial facilities and production sites, housing, facilities of small and medium-sized businesses IDGC of Centre makes a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of regions of the Central Federal District.
