OREANDA-NEWS. PJSC RusHydro (ticker symbol: MOEX, LSE: HYDR; OTCQX: RSHYY) was ranked 91st among the world’s leading energy companies in 2017 S&P Global Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company Ranking. In 2016, the Company was ranked 127th in the ranking. RusHydro also entered the ranking of 50 fastest growing energy companies (44th place) and was ranked 8th in the top-10 fastest growing companies in EMEA.

The rankings’ methodology measures companies’ financial performance using four key metrics: asset worth, revenues, profits, and return on invested capital. 2017 ranking includes 13 Russian energy companies. Russian electric utilities sector is represented by four companies: RusHydro, Inter RAO, Rosseti and MOESK.

RusHydro was included in Platts ranking for the first time in 2010 with 113 rank, lagging behind only Russian oil majors, and was also ranked among 50 fastest growing energy companies worldwide.
