TATNEFT’s Petrochemical Complex Employees Celebrated the Chemist's Day
OREANDA-NEWS. The enterprises of the TATNEFT Company’s oil refining and petrochemical clusters celebrated a professional holiday - Chemist's Day.
Alexander Orlov, Deputy Department Director of the of the Chemical Technologiy and Timber Industry Complex of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Renat Sabirov Assistant to President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Albert Karimov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Engel Fattakhov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan- Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aidar Metshin, Head of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District, Nail Maganov, General Director of PJSC TATYTFT, Anvar Vakhitov, Director of OOO Tatneft-Neftekhim Management Company, Leonid Alekhin, General Director of JSC TANECO, participated in the celebrations in Nizhnekamsk.
Within the framework of the exhibition display participants of the event were able to get acquainted with the activities of the petrochemical and oil and gas processing sector of TATNEFT. There were enterprises of the TATNEFt’s tire complex, JSC TANECO, JSC Nizhnekamsktekhuglerod, P-D Tatneft-Alabuga Steklovolokno, OOO Tatneft-Neftekhimservis, OOO Tatneft-Presskompozit, and OOO Tatneft-Nizhnekamskneftekhim-oil.
Addressing the audience, Nail Maganov, General Director of PJSC TATNEFT, congratulated everyone on the professional holiday, emphasizing the glorious historical traditions of the chemical and petrochemical industries development in the Republic where TATNEFT is represented by the Company's petrochemical sector, tire manufacturing companies and the TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex. According to Nail Maganov, the opportunities for the development of the industry branch had no limits.
Tire manufacturing enterprises of TATNEFT occupy a leading position among tire manufacturers in the Russian Federation. The factories produce about 350 commodity items of tires and 14 grades of carbon black. The products of the tire manufacturing complex are exported to 42 countries of the world. The high quality of KAMA, KAMA EURO, and Viatti tires, as well as innovative tires of solid steel cord design have been acknowledged by victories in prestigious competitions and positive feedback from consumers.
There are about 20 types of petrochemical products manufactured by the TANECO complex, in which the special place is occupied by the EURO-5 diesel fuel, fuel for jet engines of the brands RT, TC-1, Jet A-1, base oils of the IInd and the IIIrd groups. The companies, built with application of on the most advanced technologies, achieve record results: the depth of oil processing amounted to 99% with the yield of light oil products reaching 87%.
