OREANDA-NEWS. In Q1 2016, electricity output of JSC TGC-1 and that of PJSC Murmanskaya CHPP grew by 6.7% YOY and amounted to 7,994.2 kWh. In Q1 2016, electricity output by JSC TGC-1 HPPs increased by 15.9% totalling 3,123.7 mln kWh owing to the higher water content in all JSC TGC-1 branches in the reporting period as compared to the previous year. Electricity output by CHPPs grew by 1.5% and amounted to 4,870 mln kWh.

Mean fuel equivalent specific consumption per electricity output in Q1 2016 dropped by 25.7% and amounted to 187.0 g/kWh. The Company continues the implementation of program for improvement of operating performance, focusing also on more energy efficient workload optimisation.

Operational efficiency of installed electric capacity in JSC TGC-1 increased by 3.6 p.p. vs Q1 2015 and amounted to 52.2%.

At the end of Q1 2016, heat output at JSC TGC-1 including PJSC Murmanskaya CHPP amounted to 9,799.5k Gcal, growing by 7.7% YOY. The indicator increase is driven by lower outside temperatures in the beginning of 2016.
