OREANDA-NEWS. ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. delegation headed by Vladimir Verkhovtsev, Director General, participated in the VIII International Forum ATOMEXPO 2016 organised by RosatomState Corporation, which terminated on 1 June.

This year, the Forum participants represented 55 countries which is a record-setting amount in the Forum history. During the three days of operation, the Forum was attended by over 5,000 people with representatives of such countries as Bolivia, Guatemala, Greece, Zimbabwe and Namibia participating for the first time.

ARMZ Senior Management took part in a varied business program of the event with the following key topics: “Nuclear Energy as a Basis for Zero Carbon Energy Balance” and “The Future of Nuclear Energy. New Players”. Moreover, the ARMZ delegation held a series of meetings and consultations with potential partners, during which they discussed the formats and the possibility of cooperation in the areas and on the projects being key for the holding.

ATOMEXPO 2016 is the most important event for the Russian nuclear industry which always takes place at an adequate level. This year, the list of participants was very representative demonstrating the increasing interest of foreign partners for domestic projects and expertise knowing no equals in the world. When summarising the Forum, Vladimir Verkhovtsev, Head of the Mining Division of Rosatom State Corporation, said “While implementing strategic tasks set for the holding, ARMZ also used this platform to discuss new “growth points” and expansion of mutually efficient cooperation”.

During the Forum, ARMZ being a leading participant in the global uranium market presented its exhibition as well. Subsidiary representatives of JSC VNIPIpromtekhnologii and JSC RUSBURMASH made a presentation of services rendered to third parties.
