OREANDA-NEWS. Day two at the EU Sustainable Energy Week Policy Conference opens the day with a focus on EU funding available for innovative developments in sustainable energy. Attendees will also get the chance to network with European Investment Bank (EIB) and European Agency for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (EASME) staff.

Meanwhile, parallel sessions will be dedicated to involving citizens in renewable energy projects and innovative financing schemes. Another session will focus on ways to store renewable energy generated by households from hot water storage to electric cars.

Later in the morning there's a whole wealth of sessions to choose from: how to make the EU number one in heating and cooling, energy efficiency business opportunities for smaller businesses, power systems of the future, local leadership in the energy transition,  the benefits of renewable energy, micro-gas turbines, and sustainable transport.

Following lunch there's a whole host more: energy efficiency in buildings, local solutions to energy poverty, European energy grids, de-risking renewable energy investment in the Mediterranean, renewable energy in urban areas, the role of renewable gases and consenting offshore renewable energy projects.
