OREANDA-NEWS. With the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) policy conference over, attention is now turning to the EUSEW Energy Days. Taking place across Europe throughout the month of June, Energy Days are local events you can attend to learn more about sustainable energy.

From information days on green electricity offers in France, to a debate on how sustainable energy can help lift people out of energy poverty, there is a whole range of events on offer.

There's also a workshop on constructing energy efficient buildings in Belgium, electric car trials in the UK, a sustainable street lighting festival in Portugal and a workshop on how to build a solar cooker in Spain.

Organised by local public and private organisations, hundreds of activities are set to take place, or have already happened this month. Check out the EU Sustainable Energy Week website to find out more.
