OREANDA-NEWS. Within the XX St.Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Engineering Division of the Russian Federal Atomic Energy Agency Rosatom – the ASE Group of Companies (hereinafter ASE) and the IBM Company signed the Partnership Agreement on development of a comprehensive solution to informatization of NPP operational management based on Multi-D and IBM Maximo communication platforms.

This Agreement will allow enhancing the technological platform IBM Maximo for Nuclear Power with NPP information model, created at design and construction stages. The main purpose is to ensure collection and transmission of digital data from design and construction stages to an operational one.

The partnership between the world leader in NPP engineering and construction – ASE and global market leader in information technologies and services – IBM will provide Rosatom with an opportunity to perform a comprehensive industry business solution for optimization of MRO and plant operation both at the design stage and also at the further stages of commissioning and operation.

The collaboration of ASE and IBM under such an Agreement will offer the unique package proposal to Customers of nuclear power complex engineering facilities from all over the world in case of their choosing the Russian project. This proposal ensures management of NPP configuration and knowledge in accordance with IAEA plans for digitalizing of nuclear power management and supervision.
