OREANDA-NEWS. Today, Bashneft and Siemens have signed a Cooperation Agreement on implementation of integrated industrial process automation solutions and energy-saving technologies at the Company's refineries and petrochemical facilities. The document has been signed by the President of PJSOC Bashneft Alexander Korsik and Dietrich Moeller, President of Siemens Russia and Central Asia and Vice President of Siemens AG.

The Agreement provides for cooperation between the companies in delivery, installation, pre-commissioning and maintenance of equipment manufactured by Siemens, including industrial control systems (ICS), automated process control systems (APCS), instrumentation and control (I&C) systems, IT solutions for petrochemical facilities, integrated energy metering equipment, modern engines and frequency control devices.

‘Bashneft pursues a consistent policy of introducing innovative energy-saving technologies and equipping its production facilities with automated process control systems enabling the Company to improve its operational efficiency and safety,’ emphasized Alexander Korsik, President of Bashneft. 'We expect that cooperation with Siemens will help reduce equipment lead time and the cost of commissioning and operation of new and overhauled production facilities.'
